Did you read our September soThis book club pick, Marrying the Ketchups?
If so, what did you think? Join the book club so you can participate in our Zoom discussion with the author Jennifer Close on Thursday, 9/29.
It’s also a great time to join the club, as our October book club pick Trust is ultra discussion-worthy. I don’t want to call it too soon, but it could be the best book I have read this year. I’m also thrilled to announce that the author Hernan Diaz will be joining our book discussion on 10/26.
If you are ready to get started, you can join the book club here
Here are a few other books that I’ve been digging lately…
Westerns aren’t usually my jam, but I read this one (Pulitzer Prize nominated!) in preparation for our October book club chat with Hernan Diaz. I didn’t love it as much as Trust, but it’s a beautifully written, original story.
Iona Iverson’s Rules for Commuting
This is a sweet, easy feel good read. This book is for you if you ever commuted and made up stories about the other people on the train. Kudos to the author Clare Poole who was a first time published author at 5O. Brav
WHY did I wait so long to read this gorgeous memoir? It’s told entirely in near-death experiences, and I promise, it’s not as grim as it sounds. Now I literally cannot wait to read O’Farrell’s new novel The Marriage Portrait
Happy reading!
